Biography
Mr. Ashworth, a seasoned trial attorney with a degree from Brigham Young University and a legal education from Western State College of Law, has been a member of the California State Bar since 1978. He co-founded Smith & Ashworth, later establishing Ashworth, Hayes & Moran, LLP, which became Ashworth & Ashworth, LLP in 2006, incorporating his daughter and son as partners. In active, full-time practice since 1978, he has effectively litigated, mediated, and settled hundreds of cases, focusing on business and commercial disputes, personal injury, and medical malpractice.
